The Vaccination Programme

Sunderland Bangladesh International Centre is continuing to play a key role in this pandemic and the fight against coronavirus. It is important that the BAME community get vaccinated. The centre is working along with Dr Fadil Khalil—clinical lead for the covid vaccination programme in Sunderland, to reassure individuals about the efficiency and safety of the vaccine. This will help reduce the disproportioned impact of COVID –19 on BAME communities. Within the centre two sessions of the vaccination programme has already been rolled out and will continue to have more vaccination programmes running in the future to encourage the BAME community to take their vaccination.
